Scott is a commercial and construction litigation lawyer. He acts for individuals and businesses from a variety of sectors, with a focus on the engineering and construction industries.

Prior to joining Acuity, Scott gained experience in commercial and construction litigation while working in the Dispute Resolution team of a well-regarded regional firm. He also gained experience in dealing with high value and commercially sensitive disputes for national and international clients.

  • Advising a London based property developer in a very complex shareholder dispute involving multiple parties and relating to several companies and LLPs that own a property portfolio estimated to be worth in the region of £10m - £20m
  • Advising a music distributor in a claim against a US based artist/producer and his related companies for a breach of contract claim that related to the exclusivity rights to distribute the artist’s/producer’s tracks and albums
