Rachael re-joined the firm in 2019 having previously trained with Acuity.

She specialises in HR and employment law and provides advice to both the private and public sector on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters.

Rachael frequently provides transactional support on company acquisitions and mergers and complex business restructures. She also has broad experience in dealing with day-to-day employment queries, including disciplinary/grievance matters.

She also has a strong track record of advising on employment tribunal litigation claims including unfair and discrimination claims.

  • Advising a manufacturing client on a collective redundancy exercise when relocating, and then dismissing, in excess of 100 staff
  • Representing clients in relation to unfair dismissal, race and disability discrimination claims where the allegations involved in excess of 10 witnesses
  • Advising a CFO on their settlement agreement and successfully negotiating a 200% increase in their exit package.
